Fansea Pants

Summertime calls for bright prints and some ~fan-sea pants~.  Even though Lilly has gone a little wild lately I will still always be a fan. She makes it easy to make a statement and be a little bold every once and a while. When I saw this two-piece set I couldn't wait to get my paws on it and I am glad I did because it quickly sold out in In the Pink on Nantucket. But it is absolutely still available online on Lilly Pulitzer Online.

The gold island pendant is from a boutique on Nantucket called Vis-a-Vis  that has such adorable and unique items.

The turquoise necklace is from Kendra Scott  and is so great for the summer and all Lilly prints!

I purchased my earrings from In the Pink on Nantucket to match the look. Similar pom-pom / tassel earrings can be found on Bauble Bar and literally anywhere right now because they are so popular! 

The Lizzy Crop Top and Pant Set (what I'm wearing) is so fun and easy. Lilly has a couple other cute similar two pieces, rompers, and jumpsuits. I've listed a few below.

Turkey Day

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love having a relaxing weekend with my family and sure do love the food!!

For this special holiday I had planned my outfit ahead of time (of course around my turkey embroidered slippers from Jack Rogers) but being silly me I procrastinated and the skirt I had ordered did not come in time! Well... theres always next year to wear that. 

Thankfully I just pulled together an outfit with things I already had and was good to go! 

Jack Rogers released a similar Thanksgiving slipper  this year which is on sale now!  Jack Rogers also sells similar festive slippers for other holidays and everyday as well. 

My skirt is from J.Crew's fall line but can be worn throughout the winter because it is wool. It also comes in red and a lilac color. 

My sweater is a typical J.Crew Tippi. 

My pearl necklace is made by KJP. This necklace is my go to it is perfect for everyday and special occasions. 

Although my outfit wasn't at all what I had planned it to be it still worked out! Guess I'll be wearing that skirt next year!

Happy Sunday!!! Today I am sharing about a local small business that I hold very near to my heart! Almost a year ago, I got an Instagram DM from a woman named Sarah Elle. She asked if I would model for her photography business because she recently moved and needed to test out a new makeup artist! Of course I took her up on the opportunity and we still keep in touch today! 

Sarah has done a wonderful job developing her small business and I truly admire her for it!

Organizing September

Happy September!!! Knowing Summer is over makes me extremely sad but is also very exciting because Fall is here! Honestly one of my favorite things about fall is getting my school supplies and organizing my desk/ study area to get back into my routine! Today I am sharing my favorite ways to make studying exciting! Decorating my notebooks and binders, collecting pretty notepads, and keeping myself organized gets me through the first month of school! 

I love to cover my bland notebooks with pretty stickers and cover my bulletin board with my favorite pictures and cut-outs! Pretty flowers and candles help too!

I ordered my sparkle monogram stickers from an Etsy store called Calcomanias! I was very happy with the quality of them and how quickly they were sent to my home! Not to mention the shipping was free :)

The rest of my fun stickers were collected from Red Bubble  - the best sticker website on the planet!!

My DIY Lilly Pulitzer binder was very simple to create! I was just about to throw out my Lilly agenda from last year and felt that I was wasting all of the pretty paper! So I grabbed my scalloped scissors and went to town!

And my beautiful Lilly Lovers Coral notebook and Pink Floral Band.O Notebook are from my favorite stationary website Swoozie's  !
